If you’re traveling it’s going to be impossible to avoid eating out at a restaurant. But if you’ve been doing well so far you don’t need to give up. Just make healthier selections.

A lot of airports and highways have McDonalds at every turn. But you don’t have to cave in. Try to pack some healthy snacks with you to help you get to your destination.

If that’s not possible and you absolutely have to hit up Mickey Dee’s try to steer away from the fried foods. Go for a salad, a yogurt parfait, even their ice cream is a much better choice than their Big Mac and fries.

Buy some fresh fruit if they have some available. Drink water instead of diet soda.

You’ll feel much better and more energized for your trip.
