pop culture hijabi

No matter how crazy Tyra gets every year, I still love watching America’s Next Top Model. The show’s just addictive, and very little of it ever ends up having to do with modeling.

One of the best episodes each season is when the girls get makeovers. There are tears and crazy hairstyles straight out of the mind of Ms. Fierce herself.

I’ve never really understood why people get so teary-eyed when they get their hair cut. It’ll grow back, so no harm done. Of course, it’s easier to say that when you wear hijab.

We have the advantage of being able to experiment with our hair and only a select few can see it.

Of course, it’s probably a good idea to put some thought into a hairstyle before going in for a cut.

That’s why I’d recommend this site, sent to me by a friend.

You can upload a photo of yourself or choose a model who looks like you and then experiment with different looks before you take the plunge.

And if your hairstyle sucks, no worries. It’ll grow out eventually.
