I have a few alerts for you! If you cannot get in, send me a quick email for an invite.

Go to Editor’s Closet for the following sample sale items; Penelope Peapod dolls, stuffed animals, outfits and ‘doll furniture.’ If you have a child under 13, they will love these, even toddlers.

Editor’s Closet also has Timi and Leslie designer diaper bags. These look like designer handbags and usually sell for between $200-600.00. Most of the bags here are under $100.00 and come with all of the goodies a Mom needs to make life easier and baby happy.

Oh, and did I mention they are also selling Chloe?

There is yet another sample shop online, with a new twist.

Red Tag Crazy offers only one item at a time, in multiple sizes. They are featured until they sell out, which seems to be about every fifteen minutes!

You can get alerts via email, Facebook, twitter, etc., but they also have this cool widget you can install that is unobtrusive-it sits on your lower right hand corner, so you can always look at it and know what’s being sold at any particular time. You can always see how many are left in each size, as well as the latest two or three you just missed! Another nice thing-they write a ‘real life’ description of how it fits, which I wish all online and catalog sites would do.

Ruelala will offer Juicy Couture April 9th @ 11:00 EST-these sell out quickly.

Thetopsecret will offer Marc Jacobs sunglasses on the 9th also.

Gomattagirls has a comfy maxi dress in three colors from MyTribe.

Secretstyle has Calvin Klein dresses and shoes, but is quickly selling out; on the 9th they will offer Kasil designer jeans.

Billiondollarbabes is currently selling 7 for All Mankind apparel and accessories for men, women, and children.

Glamlist has some cute maxi dresses that normally retail for over $100 and are now on sale for $50 and on the 9th will offer People apparel. Best to email me for an invite if you want to get in asap. They are a bit of a tough nut to crack.

Hautelook and Gilt will be offering skincare, shoes, handbags and designer clothing for men and women-with every day a new set of designers (Gilt is offering ‘Little Marc Jacobs’ on Saturday, the 11th).

Do the names Vivenne Tam, Peter Som, Theory Shoes, Task Essential Skincare, Peter Thomas Roth, Bill Blass, Rebecca Minkoff, Olivia Harris and Christian Laboutin mean anything? If not-look anyway!

Some hints to shopping these sites; read their instructions first. Some allow unconditional returns, others will offer returns for certain kinds of goods, or brands, others do not (they all do for defective merchandise, however).

Although a site might offer three or four brands, they might only all you to put items from one designer at a time in your cart (they will allow you to combine shipment if you finish your shopping within the hour).

If you are really interested in something, do your homework. Check out prices elsewhere on the net.

Check out any customer reviews if you are unfamiliar with the product. Be careful that in the heat of the moment (sort of like Ebay) you do not end up shopping too much and then are unhappy with your purchases. It is better to know ahead of time what you are looking for.

Happy hunting, and if you have any questions, email me.
