Pantyhose that separate your toes
July 3rd, 2009We were recently contacted by this company about a product that enables you to wear thong sandals while still wearing pantyhose.

The product is advertised as “The first and original notch-toe pantyhose”
We’re not sure how we feel… it kind of reminds us of those socks that looked like gloves for your feet.
We’d definitely have to try a pair though before coming to any conclusions.
Like it or leave it? Would you wear something like this?

No matter what, pantyhose with sandals is just wrong. I give them props for trying to change that, though.
LOL. But you know I have to admit I’ve worn pantyhose with a short dress and some open toe high heeled sandals. No one realized that I had anything on because it blended so smoothly with my skin making it look like I had really great legs haha. So it’s definitely a great tactic. But sometimes it can look bad. I saw some woman wearing shorts and she had pantyhose and then socks and sneakers on while she was bike riding. It looked horrible.. and I can’t imagine how sweaty… eew!
I totally would try this product. I think if its made to be worn with sandels it may not look as funny or bad as the ones that were not. I think its a good idea. I see many women wearing socks with flip flops and thong flip flops and that just totaly drives me crazy..lol To me that looks like it hurts and very uncomfortable. lol
Fatima I agree on the sock thing. I just saw a woman today wearing flip flops with thick sports socks ARGH!
And actually I believe it’s in Japan that they have special socks to wear with their flip flops
Pantyhose don’t show up on your legs, but my big pet peeve is when you can see the seam on your toes. That’s the worst. I don’t know if you’d have the same problem with these ones.
And yeah, if it’s cold enough to wear socks, put the flip flops away please. Although I’ll admit to wearing socks with Birkenstocks in high school. It was the cool thing to do then.
I’d be more than willing to buy an opaque, non-flesh colored version of this product – have even wished such a thing was available over the years…
They do have black one’s checkout their site.
I would buy in a minute!!!
I didn’t know what to make of these at first! I admit I am more curious about how it would feel. I can’t stand anything in between my toes. I think I would try a pair though, but only to see how it works and feels. I don’t like the seem showing either. I’d only wear it probably to make my legs look smooth in a dress while wearing the sandles. Wearing socks with Birkenstocks is pretty much the norm in Western Washington State. One summer in Seattle that was the fashion, notto mention comfort!
