The title says it all!
We’re wondering if there are some super fantastic tops you own or have seen that would be *perfect* if only the sleeves were longer.
Our pet peeve is when we find an amazing shirt and then the sleeves are 3/4 or shorter. It’s not fun always having to layer.
Why can’t anyone just make a normal long-sleeve tunic?
We know there are Muslim companies that make long tops, but to us, they sometimes are a bit too “ethnic” so we’d like to see something a little more in line with today’s style of modern fashion with hijabi function.

Seriously- everything is either short-sleeved, or not tunic length. I work at a coffee shop and have to wear a black collared shirt, and I usually end up layering a long-sleeved tee with a looser fit polo shirt. Layering is okay at times, but it’s often either too hot or too casual. I’d love to find something longer sleeves on something like this-

I can respond to that. There are a couple of alternatives to long t-shirts which can go for casual AND dressy occasions (except soiree, that’s kinda tricky). They can go underneath almost anything that’s short in any way.
The good thing is, that you can buy them outside Egypt too!

Madiha I’d love to know more about those shirts.. they’re not the body ones are they? I’ve seen the super tight stretchy tops you can wear under stuff.. but I wish there were just nice plain long sleeve tops so I didn’t have to worry about it
Clare that’s a nice shirt from Target.. I think I’ve seen them in long sleeve years ago at Old Navy. That’s another crazy thing.. when you find it once it’s gone the next second lol
The first type is that one. But there is another brand that is the same idea too that’s much more comfortable to wear and not so “sprayed on”.
The second one is…well if you saw it, you’d go “why didn’t I think of that before?!”. But it’s a growing trend here and I’m dieing to get some lol.
