Grateful for whatever comes my way

I told you previously that this column was meant to keep you up to date with some of my personal pursuits aside from Hijabtrendz and so it’s time for a little update on that end. 
I just had an audition yesterday to do voice over for a tv commercial, so keep your fingers crossed!
In addition, I’m working as a consultant/actress for a possible hijab style video that is being produced by a big company.
And finally, out of the blue I got a call for a job I applied to almost a year ago, and it looks like I may be on-air again soon.
So that’s what’s been happening on my end “behind the screen”. Yes, there is more to me than this computer nerd you may be picturing. lol.
You never know what can happen when you least expect it.
I’ve been so busy with Hijabtrendz and I just started to post my personal ramblings on mariamsobh.com that I never had a minute to think about my other pursuits and now it seems like everything is falling into place.
Whether or not these things end up materializing is not something I’m too occupied with, because I feel like if it’s meant to be it will come my way easily.
I’m just grateful for the opportunities.
