I made a great discovery just in time for Eid.

I had to replace my makeup and found out that Bare Minerals comes in matte formula now.

As someone who has VERY oily skin, this is a God-send. So far, it seems to be working well. The makeup absorbs excess oil and keeps me  from looking shiny. I’ve tried other things to control the oil. Blotting sheets are a  temporary fix, and it’s annoying to pull them out every few hours.

I also really like Mac’s foundation primer, but it always makes me  break out the next day. So I’m pretty satisfied with this solution.

As a quick side note, I ran into Target the other day (I literally have to run in and out with blinders because I get sidetracked so easily. As it is, I bought a pair of purple shoes. Story of my life.) and caught a quick glance of the Anna Sui collection. I didn’t linger (see above parenthetical) but it looked cute. There seemed to be a lot  of dresses that can easily be worn on pants.

Once I keep up with my  resolution to save money for a bit, I may go back. Although it’s probably better if I don’t, since I lingered on the shoes page for a while when I was looking for links to the collection.
