But of course that's not always prudent. :) I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this dilemma. But I wish there was an easy solution! Though Aamina, I think if you go to a shoe repair place they can replace heels that have worn down. I think it isn't too expensive either. Zeynub, I love Aldo, but their shoes aren't always the MOST comfortable. But I think I'm going to have to dedicate one day to some serious boot shopping and check out as many stores as I can. Lupi, I know what you mean. Also like you i've made a pact with myself not to fall into the trend and by those UGGs, but somehow i might have to break that pact. I also find that when i by boots, by the end of the winter the heel is slightly damaged so makes me sleep, which makes it harder, as i have to find a heel that is small but is going to last me a while.. See, I have a baby and I can't wear boots with heels and push a stroller at the same time, or worse try running after a toddler that just discovered her legs. So, I found the perfect pair by Roger Viver. They were pricey and they only had 1 in my size. I decided to wait till closer to Thanksgiving hoping that the price would drop.
