Share with us what you plan to wear and give each other some inspiration. A lot of times Eid can turn into a hijab style dressing rut. Either you go with the same bling bling abaya and hope no one will notice, or you try to pull off something fancy by piling on the jewelry. We’ve been there done that with our own hijab fashion, lol!

This year if you’re not sure about busting out with a whole new wardrobe, put together something neutral and pair it with some fabulous accessories. But don’t go overboard. If you simply pick one of the accessories featured below, you’ll be all set.

Accent your outfit with one of these jeweled items from Newport News

thats all really cute stuff! i can never really hang onto the accessory thing i try and then just ‘whatever’ because i am always rushing and stuff. i can barely pin a hijab on i am trying to transition from the two pieces now to larger wrap ones. i love the brooch and bracelet those are great ways io add life to an outfit.

I don’t really wear many accessories on Eid ’cause I’m usually helping setting up and taking down the preparations, but I will probably wear some sort of statement bracelet or something like that.
I love the pink cocktail ring, ’cause that’s something I would wear. :D

I’m completely unprepared for Eid. lol I still have no idea what I’m going to wear. Help!

Jannah I’m unprepared too lol but I’m not going anywhere since I’m home with a new baby. However, what type of events are you planning to attend? That usually helps when you decide what to wear or if you’re going to change outfits mid-day

For prayers I wore a thobe. Not my hand stitched one (I need to have it cleaned) but the machine stitched one (still beautiful).

For brunch at my house I changed into a long black skirt, kurti, black sweater, and a pashmina.

Dinner out I wore the same black skirt, black long sleeve shirt, a sequined pashmina wrap and a turkish hijab.

Tomorrow is jeans! Sunday I have a booth at the Metro Detroit Eid carnival, so I will be wearing something comfortable and stylish (not sure what just yet though)!

btw, I don’t normally switch clothes eight times lol.
