The Savvy Hijabi: Beauty Discount Tips

I know I was supposed to fill you in last week, but it totally slipped my mind! Here we are though and here are some great ways to save $$$ when you buy beauty products.

First and foremost always look for coupons. I like to purchase products from places like Target, Meijer,  or Walmart because you can use coupons there. Make sure that if you have a coupon for your product from the Sunday paper to also look for a coupon from the company of the makeup product you want to buy. Often times they have them if you “like” their Facebook page or they may just have it on their website ready to print.

So no, instead of one coupon you have two!

Top it off by waiting (look at the expiration dates on the coupons so you don’t lose them). Once you see that those items are on sale, that’s when you jump in and buy them.

You’ll be amazed at how much you can save.

Many of these stores are starting to carry really cool brands, but don’t be fooled by image and names. You can get really great beauty products from companies that sell cheaper makeup like Maybelline, Cover Girl, Revlon etc. And they are the ones that usually have great coupons.

Hope you enjoyed my tip. The added bonus? You can use this method to save on just about anything else including food and clothing!

Now in case you were wondering… here is a quick roundup of sales that just might interest you if you’re a Savvy Hijabi!
