The weather in Chicago the past few days has been sunny and almost Spring-like, and I hate it. I know I’m definitely in the minority in this case. I just love winter, and it makes me sad that there’s only been a few snowfalls.
My sister has been wanting to plan a sledding trip with our younger cousins, and it’s been nearly impossible to schedule anything. There’s just no snow!
One positive thing is that I can still wear my flat shoes and heels instead of being stuck in boots for five months. That’s a plus.
But I miss winter. The bundling up, the hot chocolate, a warm fireplace.
I know I’m alone in this. But when it’s 50 degrees in the summer, you’ll be wishing winter was colder as well.
