Keeping your nail polish from chipping

This might seem like common sense to those of you who are regular nail polish users, but it just struck us the other day while browsing the aisles of our local Walgreen’s.

We spotted a base and top coat that you apply before and after you put on nail polish.

The result? Super shiny nails, and if you are patient enough to follow the directions/let it dry, you will have no chips even after major dish washing by hand.

    @Zeynub yeah I’m trying to take my time these days when I put nail polish on lol. Otherwise I have smudges and look like a 5 year old did my nails haha.
    @Jodi thanks for the tip!
    @Romaseba nice I’ll try those ones if I can find it! 🙂

    It doesn’t take too long if you have a fast-dry top/base coat – a good fast drying top coat is the Seche Vite one and a good base coat that I find dries quickly for me is the OPI natural base coat 😉 xoxo

    It’s a good thing and base coat helps to prevent your nails from becoming stained or ‘yellowed’ from using darker nail polishes. Top coat seals in the color and helps it to last longer. The top coats with nail hardener and polish quick dry are nice also! Did you know that there is even spray in the can for ‘quick dry’ options?!! Sally’s Beauty supply has it all! 🙂
