Hair woes, cont’d.

Who knew someone who wears hijab could spend so much talking about hair? I’m still working on a regimen that will leave me completely satisfied, but I’ve found at least one product that I’m happy with.
I’ve been getting recommendations to use Moroccan hair oil forever, and I finally tried it this past month. As someone who has curly, wavy, frizzy hair, let me just say how much I love the oil. It’s so great for keeping my hair under control, and it’s been unbelievably soft and shiny lately.
I don’t know if it would work the same for everyone. But, my mom and sister have completely opposite hair from mine, and they love using Moroccan oil as well. They have straight hair, and it’s made their locks shiny as well.
As I’ve talked about before, my mom has long recommended using coconut oil in hair. But, you can leave Moroccan oil in as a styling agent as well, which makes it more handy than coconut oil.

Have you guys tried the oil? Have you had similar results?

I use Moroccan oil and I also use JoJoba oil. I think sometimes the weather just affects the way my hair is. I went a few weeks ago to get a haircut and my hairdresser said that when you always pin your hair up it can dry up the ends.

FYI Moroccan Oil brand hair oil is an Israeli product if that sort of thing matters to you.

My life changed when Herbal Essence discontinued its leave in conditioner a few years ago. Now I have had a damaged frizzy perm look from the nineties for too long. I keep meaning to try the moroccon oil since you suggested it a while ago and others have also raved about it.

I’ve heard so many people talking about Moroccan oil and I still haven’t gone out, bought some and tried it – I need to soon though – lol 😛 xoxo
