Maxi love

We’re coming upon my least favorite time of year: summer. I know, most of you think I’m crazy, but I just can’t stand the heat. When it gets really humid and hits the ’80s, I just no longer want to leave the house.
Luckily, maxi dresses are still in fashion. They’re pretty much the only thing I wear in the summer, mostly because they’re the only thing that won’t make me melt on the spot.
It’s also nice that long scarves are sold in department stores, since they’re an easy thing to mix and match with various dresses.
The easiest way to pull together a really plain outfit is to throw on a patterned scarf. And a good way to temper a lot of flash in your clothes is with a plain hijab.

Here are a couple dresses I’ve had my eye on:

Scarf from Nordstrom and dress from Old Navy.
