I like to call these products baby-mama because they’re for the baby technically, but if they’re chic enough the mama can definitely do some major paparazzi posing with them.

Once upon a time, women hoped and prayed for a natural labor and delivery. These days, the rising rate of women going under the knife to deliver is alarming, although not worrying to most physicians.

Why? This is because the cesarean section is ‘elective’ or chosen by the mother as her way of wanting to give birth. Yes, this may seem odd to most of us, but it is true.

What with the pain interventions that doctors have available to you in hospital these days, is there anything that suggests a natural birth? Not if you equate “natural” to “drug-free”. We have all heard of the choices in pain reduction that is available to the mother in labour – epidurals, spinals, IV injections…. But what if you want to give birth with minimal pain and not take these pain meds?

The Baby’s not the only One who’s Swimming….
You are pregnant. You want to excise… what is a low impact sport you can do that is generally safe for every pregnant woman? Swimming. You can swim in your own pool or join in some prenatal exercise classes at your YWCA or local health club.
