New Music has been released from Medina a group consisting of Five Eighty and HAZali  and we have some exclusive tracks right here just for Hijabtrendz readers!

If you haven’t heard of them, Medina is a group that is trying to create music that speaks to the minds and hearts of today’s “uber eccentric generation”. Medina says they are bringing change to an industry that is made up of materialism and misogyny with positive messages through their music.

Nia Long in Hijab

A friend of ours recently passed along information about a film that is in the works called:”MOOZ-lum” by Qasim “Q” Basir.

It features big name actors Danny Glover and Nia Long. Also playing a small role in the film is Muslim comedian Azhar Usman.
