Our Favorite Bra Store

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

Is actually online!

Breakout Bras has a great collection of bras that would be very pricey anywhere else. They also have an amazing range of sizes that we guarantee you’ll never find in any department store.

This is the best place to find quality bras that really work to keep you well supported.

Ladies, if your boobs are sagging and you’re not 70 years old, then you have a serious problem!

Tired of looking like you have the dreaded uni-boob? Do you seem to always look like you’re slouching?

You’re not wearing the right kind of bra. This can be bad for your health, as well as your overall well being.

Breasts should be supported to enhance your overall appearance and to ensure that you’re not putting too much strain on them or your back.

For those of you who who have been constantly tugging your hijab across your chest because you feel like your boobs are making an entrance before you even get in the door…chances are you’re not wearing the right bra.

If you’re not sure about how this all works, checkout the whole guide on measuring and finding the right fit here.

Wearing white and not on your wedding day

Monday, July 6th, 2009

A lot of women deck out in white for their wedding day, but don’t think they can ever pull off such a dramatic color any other day.

White is dramatic because it’s very bright and can draw attention in the wrong way if it’s not worn properly.

Too many times we’ve been able to see through someone’s outfit to what’s underneath and it’s an awkward situation.

Do you tell the person you can see their undies? Or do you just look away and hope that no one else noticed?

Here are a few tips to keep you from sharing your boudoir with the rest of the population:

  • Make sure to wear a slip underneath a white skirt. Even if you have lining, white is very see through in the sunshine!
  • Don’t think just because you’re wearing a white jilbab that you can skip wearing clothes underneath on a hot day, we can see what’s underneath, so make sure that you wear a full length slip or other clothing.
  • If you’re going to wear white pants, the best option is to have a shirt that is long enough to cover your behind. (Then you don’t have to worry about any mishaps).
  • But if your shirt is going to be on the short side, wear some flesh colored Spanx or other control shorts instead of your usual underwear to keep the lines smooth.
  • For dresses and tops, wear a flesh colored bra or a full length slip that has a built in bra. Again you can find control slips that will help keep everything tucked in and prevent lines.
  • As far as white hijabs go, most of the time they are indeed see-through. Wear a white undercap underneath for a seamless look or wear a colored undercap to give it a pop of color.

Tip: If you think thongs are a great way to keep from showing your undies, think again! If you wear white, you can pretty much guarantee we can see it all. Thongs are best left worn under darker colors.
