For all you hijabi fashionistas out there, we’re excited to announce that Hijabtrendz has been invited to attend two premier fashion shows, one that takes place tonight (Thursday) and the other is tomorrow (Friday).

These runway shows are part of Fashion Focus Chicago, a yearly event that brings together up and coming as well as seasoned designers to show off their latest creations.

Two big events are coming up and for all you hijabi fashionistas these are the places you can draw inspiration from.

First up is Project Runway, it’s debuting on August 20th on Lifetime. The show perviously aired on Bravo so make sure to take note of the channel change.

New York Fashion Week is coming up in September and designers will be previewing their collections for Spring 2010 we’re excited to find out what’s in store.
