I think I buy a new coat every few years, but once in a while I’ll find a coat that I know will last me a long time.
I’ve done the wool coats, the puffy coats, the thing down coats and everything in between.
Here is my conclusion: (If you are able to)
- You should have one heavy winter coat when you’re out and about in the snow.
- You should have one stylish winter coat for functions and outings.
I’m learning these things by trial and error lol.
I wear my long puffy down coat when I’m putting on my hefty boots and gloves and braving the below zero windchill.
If I’m heading to a party or going out to a meeting, I’ll wear my stylish wool coat.
The benefit of switching out the coats, is that you’ll have them last longer, and… well it’s nice to have options 🙂
Tomorrow, I’ll share a few different options for winter coats that are super stylish and others that are functional.
I’m not sure how you’re doing with the weather where you’re at, but so far here in Chicago it snowed once, and the temperatures have taken a dive!
